I got my first bike, a Yamaha 250 Enduro when I was 15 years old, for only $150.
Boy were my parents surprised.

Hopefully, I will be able to maintain a blog, chronicling the adventures of getting back into motorcycling after a twenty-five year hiatus. Ever since its introduction, the R nine T, and it's variants have been my target, if I were to ever hop on a bike again.
My first bike
True story - at the tender age of fifteen, I managed to scrape $150 bucks together (no small task for a poor kid from Fitchburg), some of it in change, and this big burly kid rode it (illegally) to my house one Saturday morning.
It wouldn't run unless jump started by coasting down the driveway and dropping the clutch (no money left for a new battery).
God that was good.
